How to install iOS 14 on an iPad

iOS 14 is a powerful new version of Apple’s mobile operating system that offers many exciting features and improvements.

  • Your iPad must be an iPad Pro (2018 or later), iPad Air (3rd generation or later), iPad Mini (6th generation or later) or iPad (5th generation or later).
  • You must have at least 18GB of available storage space on your iPad.

Note: If you have less than 18GB of available storage space, you can free up some space by deleting unused apps and files.

Step 1: Back Up Your Data

  1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPad.
  2. Scroll down and tap “iCloud”.

  4. Sign in with your Apple ID if you haven’t already done so.
  5. Tap “Back Up Now” to start the backup process.
  6. Wait for the backup to complete. Once it’s done, you can safely proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Download and Install iOS 14

Now that your data is backed up, you can proceed with the installation of iOS 14. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the “Settings” app on your iPad.
  2. Scroll down and tap “Software Update”.
  3. Wait for the update to appear. If it doesn’t show up immediately, try waiting a few minutes or restarting your iPad.
